What I would like to know is in all of these years why has the term 'morning sickness' never had a name change? In case you didn't know, 'morning' sickness can hit you at any time of the day or night. Mine has not been mild to say the least. I get nauseous if I'm hungry, thirst, need to go to the bathroom, and at random moments for no reason! The nausea was so bad sometimes I couldn't move off the couch for hours.
Now, ginger does help...sometimes! I have tried ginger ale, which really didn't help much for me. Ginger muffins and ginger snaps work well, plus if I am feeling nauseous from hunger they solve that problem as well! I bought ginger hard candies, but the taste is not close to 'candy' at all. They where so strong that the taste was unbearable. I didn't know what to do because the candies helped but I couldn't even finish half of one! I bought a big bag of them because they where cheap. Then I had the brilliant idea to make tea and dissolve the ginger candy into the tea. Derek and I had done this before with cough drops during cold season. It was more tolerable and worked very well to calm the oddly named 'morning sickness'
